The pleasant staff, led by a jovial receptionist who epitomized British hospitality, escorted us to our spacious room overlooking the tranquil lake. The bartender, a true beer aficionado, shared her expertise on local brews from nearby microbreweries with a charming touch. Embarking on a gastronomic journey, we dined at the onsite restaurants, Casa Bella Italia and Hong Kong. Casa Bella Italia's traditional Italian cuisine paired magnificently with a fine Belgian beer, while Hong Kong's flavorsome Asian dishes transported us to the vibrant streets of the Far East. The breakfast spread at Butgenbacher Hof was a symphony of European flavors, offering a diverse array of delicacies to start the day right.As a travel writer exploring European microbreweries, Hotel Du Lac's fusion of regional cuisine and warm hospitality left an indelible mark, beckoning fellow food enthusiasts to savor this hidden gem.
